About The Cause

This year CrossFit Morgantown will be donating 100% of funds raised to the Denis family. The Denis family has a rich history at CrossFit Morgantown. Brock Denis was the first coach hired at CFM, and ultimately left to serve his country. In 2018 Brock’s wife, Rileigh, was diagnosed with T Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. What started out as a somewhat routine visit turned into an immediate transportation to a medical center for an already critical condition. Brock and Rileigh are still  a part of our CFM family, and we are happy to be able to support them through this year’s Burden Games. They have a little boy named Noah, and the treatments and challenges associated have been really hard on their whole family. Rileigh still has 2 years of treatments ahead, but she's doing amazingly well. All of the proceeds from the Burden Games will help to pay medical bills.
