Gauntlet For Glory

Doors open at 8am, teams should be checked in by 9am, with first heat starting at 9:15.


A two-person team competition to bring our local community together and benefit one of our own! (See details below)

Grab your partner and register your team to:

  • Participate in a great community event
  • Throw down your gauntlet for some challenging and unique WoDs
  • Free onsite physical therapy services provided by one of our sponsors EXOS.
  • Swag Bags! Everyone loves free stuff!
  • After party following the competition for awards ceremony. Beer, food and fun will be located at Taco YOLO (another gracious sponsor) right by the competition venue.
  • A chance for glory, prizes for winners of each division

The Details:

  • August 18th 2018 9am start time, estimated 6 hours for competition events with after party to follow
  • 4 Divisions – Rx & Scaled for Male & Female
  • $100 per Team
  • 10 Teams per division
  • 4 WoDs in a single day
  • Grab bags and PT Services provided by EXOS to all participants
  • Spectators are encouraged and free! Vendors and food will be available, feel free to bring your own beverages and food as you please.

Why we are fundraising?

The Parra family will be traveling to Barcelona, Spain to compete in the 2018 IWF Master’s World Championship http://weightliftinglh2018.com

Lydia, Eddie and their family are the embodiment of our CFG community’s culture. You will find them in the gym lifting all of the weights, dancing and smiling on the daily. The deep connection this family has made in our fitness community is no surprise; happiness is contagious.

We put events on like this because of families like this; your participation will help them in obtaining their goal of competing on the world stage! On August 18th 2018 we are all #TeamParra!

What your business receives:

  • Your selected logo will be printed on all marketing materials and T-shirts printed for this year’s event. (T-shirt print cut-off will be July 18th)
  • Access to event with location for a tent or table where you can advertise or sell your services or products.
  • Our undying gratitude and a chance to reach several hundred new clients

What we need from you:

  • Your preferred logo
  • $200 cash value sponsorship – This can be a check, prizes for winners or 40 items for the participant grab bags.
  • *Optional* Your attendance, we want to provide you the opportunity to be part of our community event and add value to your sponsorship for your business.
