Join Kanna Fitness on Saturday, June 11, 2022 for KANNA FEST!

REGISTRATION CLOSES MAY 27th.  May 20th will be your last day to get a Kanna Fest T-Shirt.

This same-sex partner competition (M/M, F/F) will have two (2) divisions: Rx and Scaled.

Athletes competing in the RX Division should be able to have the ability to complete the following barbell and bodyweight movements in a workout setting, for reps not as a 1RM. 

  • Clean and Jerks at 155/105
  • Front Squat 155/105
  • Snatch & OH Squat 115/95
  • Deadlifts at 225/155
  • Wallballs 20/14 
  • CtB Pull-ups
  • Toes-to-Bar
  • Burpee Box Jump Overs
  • Double-Unders

At minimum, Scaled athletes competing should be able to:

  • Clean and Jerks at 95/65
  • Front Squat 95/65
  • Snatch & OH Squat 75/55
  • Deadlifts at 185/125
  • Wallballs 14/10 
  • Jumping Pull-ups
  • Hanging Knee Raises
  • Burpees
  • Jump Rope Singles

Here's some important info to help prepare for the day of!

  • Getting There: Once you get to the Ambler Yards campus, look for the school busses and you'll find us.  The gym has a large "KANNA FITNESS" sign above the garage door!

  • Parking: Plenty of parking is available in the lots directly in front of and adjacent to the gym.

  • Check- In: All athletes must check in between 7:30 AM and 8 AM.  WOD review will begin promptly at 8 AM.  **Expect to be done between 2-3PM.

  • Come prepared!  Remember to bring:
    • Extra change of clothes – if you get really sweaty, you might want an outfit change!
    • Extra athletic tape for your fingers or wrists, if you use it. For grip, we have chalk; WOD wax is not allowed.
    • Anything you typically use in your gym, such as weightlifting shoes, wrist wraps, knee sleeves, etc.
    • Money or a credit card! Barista Jake's Coffee Cart will be on site with various food & drink offerings.  Well Crafted Beer and The Lunch Box will both be open for business during and after the comp!
    • SNACKS! Carb or protein-based snacks are best. You’ll want to try to eat something small directly after each of your workouts to maintain energy throughout the day.

  • No Refunds: Please be mindful that if you cannot participate in the competition, we are unable to issue a refund for any reason.
  • Trading Places – You can substitute an athlete up until the day of competition!
