Lift For Lymphoma is a deadlift competition aimed at raising funds for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, a 501 charitable organization founded in 1949, is the largest voluntary health organization dedicated to fighting blood cancer in the world. The LLS's mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Lift For Lymphoma is hosted every year in June with all proceeds going towards Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. At THIRST, we do our best to raise funds for local charities by also teaching others in the community about strength training, and health and wellness.

The Lift For Lymphoma Deadlift Competition utilizes competition grade equipment and rules to help give people an introduction to a sanctioned powerlifting meet via a deadlift only option.
Each competitor is allowed three attempts at a weight of their choosing, however, once a weight has been chosen, the competitor is not allowed to decrease their weight. Once a successful lift has been made, the lifter may increase the weight for the next attempt. The highest successful lift by the lifter is deemed their best lift, and is what is used to determine the overall winner and each weight class winner.
